Abstract:
Over the past years, an attempt has been made to include all students without exception in education with emphasis on their individual needs and peculiarities as well as the recognition and acceptance of each and every one’s diversity and value. Implementing integration and inclusive education for people with disabilities or educational needs is not an easy task. Based on both the theoretical and research parts of this study, there are obviously several prerequisites and changes that should be put into practice toward the implementation of equity in education. The aim of this study is to analyze the terms integration, social inclusion and inclusive education as well as the presentation of parallel support teachers’ viewpoints. Data collection was carried out through nine semi-structured interviews to parallel support teachers of Greek public schools
