Abstract: Climate change is now one of the biggest global problems, as its impacts on humans and the
environment are terrible and prolonged. Almost all countries of the world are directly or indirectly
affected by the adverse effects of climate change. Bangladesh is not immune to the adversities of
climate change. Instead, the country is at a high risk of natural disasters due to its geographical
location, low-lying landscape, population density, poverty, illiteracy, alternation in the pattern of
seasons, poor infrastructures and so on, according to research. This paper will try to understand
climate change impact of climate change from a Bangladesh Perspective. It will highlight national
and internal policies, acts, regulations and initiatives to combat climate change. |
