Abstract: Human societies are structured and organized according to codes and norms. Each actor has a
specific duty and a role to play. Parents have the obligation to teach and educate children.
Children in their turn should respect and obey not only their parents but also elders the society. It
sometimes happens that for some reasons children disobey their parents and consequently face
some life problems afterwards. The main objective of this paper is the draw the attention of
young men on the importance of obedience and the necessity to obey and respect elders in
general and parents in particular. The study put a particular stress on disobedience through the
