Title: ENHANCING GRAMMAR COMPETENCE FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS VIA
THE KAHOOT PLATFORM |

Abstract: This study investigated how high school students responded when using the Kahoot platform in
English grammar learning and how this platform worked in enhancing high school students’
grammatical competence. A total of 40 students from Ngo Quyen High School took part in the
study, including 20 students in an experimental group who were given the Kahoot platform to learn
grammar for seven weeks. To gather information for analysis, pre- and post-tests and pre- and
post-questionnaires were implemented. After using the Kahoot platform, the students' grammatical
skills improved dramatically, according to the pre-test and post-test findings. Participants' positive
assessments of this platform were also demonstrated by the post-questionnaire. Through the
findings of the study, suggestions for teachers, students, and institutions were proposed by the
researchers. Additionally, recommendations for further study were also given. |
