PERCEPTION AND ATTITUDE OF TUTORS (APT) COLLEGE OF EDUCATION TOWARDS THE USE OF ICT IN TEACHING AND LEARNING

Abstract:
The aim of the study is to find out the attitude and perception of tutors (APT) of college of education tutors towards the use of ICT in teaching and learning process. In all 198 tutors were randomly selectedfrom a stratified 5 zones of the colleges of education in Ghana. The collected data were analyzed using IBM version 23 of the statistical social science package (SPSS). T-test and descriptive statistics were use analyse the data. The results of the study indicate that generally college of education tutors have high attitude and perception towards the use of ICT in teaching and learning process. The findings further shows that no significant difference between the attitude of male and female tutors towards the use of ICT in teaching and learning process. Again, the research reveals that there was no significant difference between the attitude if ICT tutors and non-ICT tutors
